KARINA PLOTKO
OWNER & PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
Karina has a passion for creating comfortable, modern spaces that bridge the gap between form and function. She spent a decade working as an Accessories Designer before shifting to a full time career dedicated to interior design. After attending the New York City School of Interior Design, she founded KP Interiors. Customizing is one of her favorite parts of designing spaces. The impact of having one-of-a-kind elements truly improve the way clients live and work. She loves every part of making that happen for her clients and seeing how it impacts their lives and she strives to make the experience as fun and stress free as possible. She has been lucky enough to have clients who have become friends along the way. Good design truly makes life better!
On a personal note, Karina was born in the Ukraine, grew up in New Jersey and went to George Washington University. After graduation, she lived in London and traveled throughout Europe and India. As an Accessories Designer, she had the opportunity to work in China, Brazil, Spain, France, England and Germany. Karina lives in Manhattan with her husband, three daughters and their Alaskan Klee Klai.
THE STUDIO
KP Interiors work closely and collaboratively with clients to craft a space that feels like the best version of their style and way of living. We take a holistic and personalized approach that reflects a client's life. Our work includes residential and commercial projects in New York City, the Hamptons, London, Amsterdam and beyond. We support our clients through all aspects of the design process, from brainstorming concepts to working with contractors and architects on complete renovations. We believe Interior design not only involves what you put in a space, but it also consists of creating a mood, feeling or emotion when people experience that space. When designing spaces we focus on all details, large and small so clients can feel comfortable. We take into account every part of your lifestyle and then design to those needs. Clients can be involved as little or as much as they want to be. Our goal is to create customized spaces for our clients and to minimize the stress of the process.
